  • 1.5 pounds jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined, tails on
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
  • Add the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Stir in remaining 2 tablespoons butter and lemon juice. Cook another 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread, rice, or pasta to soak up the delicious garlic butter sauce. You can substitute lime juice or add white wine for a different flavor twist.
