peeled and cubed

unsalted butter

honey

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cubed sweet potatoes and cook for 15–20 minutes or until tender.
Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
Add the butter, honey, and warmed milk. Mash until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt and cinnamon (if using), and stir to combine.
Serve warm, optionally garnished with a pat of butter or chopped herbs.
Notes
For extra richness, use heavy cream instead of milk. You can also roast the sweet potatoes for a deeper flavor before mashing.
