Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 4 burger buns toasted, optional

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, spinach, white cheddar, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into 4 evenly sized patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a dash of Dijon mustard or hot sauce to the burger mixture. These freeze well—just shape and freeze uncooked patties between parchment layers.
