Ingredients
  

Steak

  • 2 ribeye steaks or your favorite cut, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Cowboy Butter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional for heat
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley fresh

Instructions
 

  • Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached. Remove and let rest.
  • In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, paprika, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
  • Pour or spoon cowboy butter over the hot steaks and serve immediately. Enjoy with your favorite sides!

Notes

Optional: Add a touch of smoked paprika or chopped chives for a different twist. Great with baked potatoes or grilled corn.
