Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage pork or turkey
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough e.g., Pillsbury Grands
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • optional chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break it up into small crumbles. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until fully mixed.
  • Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly and cut into halves or quarters depending on size.
  • Spoon a small amount of sausage mixture onto each dough piece. Fold and pinch the dough around the filling to seal and form a ball.
  • Place the bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These can be prepped ahead and frozen before baking. Simply thaw and bake when ready! They also make an excellent party appetizer or grab-and-go breakfast.
