Cake Base

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix any brand
  • 2 cups milk whole or 2%
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter melted slightly
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped peanut butter cups plus more for topping
  • 1 stick unsalted butter sliced thin

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In the baking dish, pour in the milk and drop spoonfuls of melted peanut butter over it. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly on top without mixing.
  • Top with chopped peanut butter cups and distribute the slices of butter evenly across the surface.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
  • Top with more chopped peanut butter cups or a drizzle of peanut butter for extra indulgence.
