Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Spatula
  • Tongs

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces cod fish fillets skinless and boneless
  • 1/4 cup flour for dredging
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
  • 1 lemon lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Season the cod fish fillets with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  • Place the flour on a plate and dredge each fillet in the flour, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the fish fillets to the pan.
  • Cook the fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Use a spatula or tongs to flip the fillets gently.
  • Once the cod is cooked through, remove from the pan and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  • Serve the pan-fried cod fish with lemon wedges for a burst of freshness and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, you can add a pinch of paprika to the flour mixture. Serve with a side of your favorite vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
