Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Small Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless, as preferred
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low-sodium recommended
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • optional fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  • Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  • Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey glaze over the top. Continue cooking for another 3–4 minutes, spooning sauce over the salmon until it thickens and glazes the fish.
  • Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with extra glaze drizzled on top.

Notes

For extra caramelization, you can broil the salmon for 1–2 minutes at the end of cooking. Serve with rice, quinoa, or a fresh green salad!
