Ingredients
  

Dip Mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 lb corned beef chopped
  • 1 cup sauerkraut drained well
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing

Bread Bowl & Extras

  • 1 large round rye bread loaf hollowed out
  • extra rye bread pieces or crackers for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, shredded Swiss cheese, chopped corned beef, drained sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing. Mix until fully incorporated.
  • Transfer the dip mixture into the hollowed-out rye bread bowl and place it on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and heated through.
  • Serve warm with the bread pieces or crackers for dipping.

Notes

You can toast the bread bowl lid and pieces in the oven for extra crunch. Add a little horseradish for extra kick if desired.
