Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup shredded coconut sweetened
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  • Press the flour mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • In another bowl, whisk the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, coconut milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the coconut mixture over the baked crust and spread evenly.
  • Bake for another 20 minutes or until the filling is set and lightly browned on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan.
  • Once cool, sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes on top. Cut into bars and serve!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can use unsweetened coconut flakes for the topping to balance out the sweetness of the filling.
