Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken, and simmer for another 2 minutes to coat.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, squeeze a little lemon juice over the chicken before serving or add red pepper flakes for heat.
