This Garlic Butter Chicken is juicy, tender, and loaded with rich buttery garlic flavor. It’s a quick and comforting dinner that pairs perfectly with rice, potatoes, or veggies.
4boneless skinless chicken breastspounded to even thickness
1tsppaprika
1/2tspsaltor to taste
1/2tspblack pepperor to taste
2tbspolive oil
Garlic Butter Sauce
4tbspunsalted butter
5clovesgarlicminced
1tspItalian seasoning
1tbspfresh parsleychopped, for garnish
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken, and simmer for another 2 minutes to coat.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, squeeze a little lemon juice over the chicken before serving or add red pepper flakes for heat.
