Ganache Topping
1/2
cup
heavy cream
1
cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
rainbow candy-coated chocolate chips or sprinkles
for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
Sift in cocoa powder, salt, and flour. Stir until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until set.
Let brownies cool completely in the pan.
To make ganache: Heat heavy cream until steaming, then pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Spread ganache over cooled brownies. Add rainbow candy toppings. Chill for 1 hour until set.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
For extra fudgy brownies, don’t overbake. These store well in the fridge and can be frozen for up to 2 months.
