Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper evenly over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  • Remove the chicken and shred using two forks.
  • Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot to soak up the juices for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use this shredded chicken in tacos, burritos, sandwiches, or salads. You can store it in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for future meals.
