Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Stuffing Topping

  • 1 box dry stuffing mix such as Stove Top, 6 oz box
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the prepared baking dish. Top each breast with Swiss cheese slices.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth, then spread evenly over the chicken and cheese.
  • Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the top. Drizzle melted butter over the stuffing mix.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked and topping is golden brown.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for a different flavor profile. For extra crisp topping, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
