Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 85% lean recommended
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise for creamy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup for creamy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard for creamy sauce
  • 1 tsp hot sauce optional, for creamy sauce
  • optional lettuce, tomatoes, pickles for filling

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through (about 7-8 minutes).
  • Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir to combine. Remove from heat and drain any excess grease if needed.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and hot sauce to create the creamy sauce.
  • Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable. Spread some creamy sauce onto each tortilla.
  • Layer each tortilla with cooked beef, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and optional lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
  • Roll up the tortillas tightly to form wraps. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately with extra sauce for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to swap the cheeses for pepper jack or Monterey Jack for a spicier kick! These wraps are also delicious when lightly toasted in a skillet or pressed in a panini maker.
