Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic; sauté until soft.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in tomato paste, tomato sauce, chili powder, and cumin. Simmer for 10–15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
While chili simmers, cook hot dogs according to package instructions (grill or pan-fry).
Place hot dogs in buns, spoon warm chili over top, and add your favorite toppings.
Notes
You can make the chili in advance—it tastes even better the next day. Serve with fries or a side salad for a full meal.
