Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Oven
  • Bowl

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the buttermilk mixture and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and flour. Dredge the marinated chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  • While the chicken is baking, prepare the hot honey glaze by mixing honey and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  • Once the chicken is baked, drizzle the hot honey glaze over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

This recipe can be made spicier by adjusting the amount of hot sauce in the glaze. Serve with your favorite side dish or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
