Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a large bowl, combine cooked beef mixture, baked beans, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire, mustard, and brown sugar. Stir until well mixed.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until bubbly and slightly caramelized on top.
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole is great as a main dish or served as a hearty side. Add chopped jalapeños or shredded cheese for extra kick.
